Road Trip To White Flower Farm

Post by Phil »

Yesterday was rainy, the power was out and we were both tired, so Mrs. Phil and I took a ride to White Flower Farm in Litchfield, CT. (It's about 40 minutes from us). Mrs. Phil had a gift certificate, so the stars were in alignment. :)

What a display of hostas they have there! We were followed home by Mighty Mouse and Lakeside Shore Master.

Wow, that really is quite the display of hostas. And I don't see all the burned out edges like we have around here from the late frosts!

Good choices on your hostas. :)

How lucky! I've seen pictures of those hosta borders at WFF before. Nice you could see them in person!
Thanks for sharing the trip!

It was quite a sight. :) It was a little frustrating that almost none had a label though.

No we didn't get late frosts to amount to anything.

Mighty Mouse was on my list, (I'd like to eventually have all of the "mice". :D ) I'd never heard of Lakeside Shore Master, but it was a real easy choice. :)

I've always like their catalog but that's about as close as I've come.

Great looking plants, I was about to order some easter lily bulbs from them.
