Name: H. 'Golden Tiara'

Description: Small, light green heart-shaped leaves bordered with wide band of yellow. Prolific. Makes an excellent edger and is especially suited for mass plantings.

Size: Small (12"w x 5"h)
Origin: Hybrid of H. nakaiana
Flowers: lavender
Source: Were attached to my 'Gemini Moon'
Added to garden: Spring 2008
Notes: These two tiny plants were attached to my 'Gemini Moon' and I noticed them soon after I got the plant in 2008. I didn't detach them until 2011 and thought they were actually some part of GM, but they were quite separate. We THINK they are 'Golden Tiara'.

I have a drift of 'Golden Tiara' in one of my sideyard beds, grows like a weed....

2014 - Since my ID for this one is probable, not positive and since I have a lack of space in my garden, I've decided this one is going to plant sales next spring. I've dug and divided and potted it into 2 good-sized divisions.
