Got a packet with very good looking hostas from Marco in Holland.

Got Bam Bam Blue
Ben Vernooij
Frisian Pride
Gretchen Grace
Jaws
Rocket's red Glare
Shimmy Shake
Stir it Up
Tea at Bettys
Titanium

So far all are in pots, waiting for the rain to come.

Please ... tell me any news about them

Back on my PC

Sorry, Pia, but I'm not familiar with any of those hostas. I checked the Library and really like Bam Bam Blue, Ben Vernooij, Frisian Pride & Shimmy Shake (very interesting form on this one!!) Good luck with them all.

Are these available to us in the U.S.?

Tell me, how large are the hostas that Marco sends out? I've visited his site and would like to send some hostas to friends in Austria.

Jaws is an outstanding garden plant, no slug damage at all over here (perhaps due to the 'teeth' on the leaves .
I also like Gretchen Grace, very nice plant. Not familiar with the rest

'Shimmy Shake' is from Alttara. 'Gretchen's Grace' is from Kathie Sisson (Katails). 'Titanium' is Don Dean's plant. All these plus 'Rocket's Red Glare', 'Jaws' (Alttara) and 'Frisian Blue' (from one of the low countries) are available here.

Bam Bam Blue is from my friend Ed Schulz in Dubuque, Iowa. I got one last year, but lost it in the great septic tank escapade.
Will replace it when I get a chance.
Nice list!
