'Pole Cat' sporting

This is my third plant. I have posted some pictures of this white-centered Striptease sport in the past.

Here is a collection of photos as it developed a dark-centered sport.

Here are shots from 2010 where the dark eye is developing:

And here is that Pole Cat in 2011 - on the left in this photo:

Here the sporting piece is looking like Striptease:

I dug the plant up and separated the sport out. I ended up with two "normal" Pole Cat pieces along with the Striptease look-a-like. One of the normal pieces went back in the original sport. The other went into the area where my Striptease sports grow the best - I will show it in another posting.

And here is the sport in early 2012:

This is a crop of a photo on another topic. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=57016
One of the photos was showing a cluster of Striptease sports and sports of sports.
That photo jogged my memory back to this topic. Pole Cat and most of the white centered Striptease sports will put out a random odd leaf with varying amounts of lets say chartreuse coloration. Pole Cat seems to do it more (at least in my garden) then the others and more completely covered centers. I mention in this post that I took my Pole Cat apart and had one sport and two normal pieces. One normal piece went back in place. This photo is the other piece that I moved to my best growing area.

It's got another of those odd colored sports. I'll need to take it apart again. And probably move that Silver Eagle over a little.

I just had the pot of the original sport in my hand yesterday but didn't get a picture.

'Polecat' has been completely stable for me through at ten years and many divisions.

Hi Victoria, you are correct. The one I got from you in 2008 has been perfectly stable for me.

This is a second one from another source.
