What an incredible plant listing! I had no idea there were that many individual threads posted, and that sure was a lot of work getting them all listed. I'll also add some as we go when I can and added just a couple, but thank you Ann for your hard work

Re: Index to Pictures and Info About Individual Hostas
Hi--After being "away" for a loonnggg time, I started to get automatic update emails about the old "Pic of the Day" series that I authored. After a few days of that, I decided to check out what was happening. What a really nice surprise and what a nice addition to the Pic of the Day series!!
I want to thank Ann for the significant time and effort you have put into the project. I think your idea of including the links will help the hostaholics (my term for folks like us) to easily gather information about the hosta varieties they are trying to research.
Thanks again, Ann.

Re: Index to Pictures and Info About Individual Hostas
Thanks, Hank. I was wondering if you were still around and I'm glad you are. I'd also like to thank Ed for helping with adding the links. Bear with us folks, if we sometimes post a few too many in one day. Hopefully it will be a valuable resource to have the index and the major links to information.

Re: Index to Pictures and Info About Individual Hostas
I see a problem with the "info" tags becoming lost in a sea for hosta photos.
I like the topic "glued" to the top of the forum. Makes it easy to see if I'm going to be adding a "new" hosta or just adding to an existing topic.

Re: Index to Pictures and Info About Individual Hostas
What a great thing to have done, Viola Ann. It's a big help to those of us who don't have all this info at our fingertips, but who need it from time to time. Thanks a bundle. Phyllis
Re: Index to Pictures and Info About Individual Hostas
Thanks, Phyllis. I did it mostly so that I could find things when I want them. Ed has been a big help too - finding links and finding other threads that should be added. I've now gone back and added links to virtually every thread on the list, and in the first or second post on the thread - do let me know if you find any that are missing them. And please feel free to let me know about other threads that you feel should be included.

Re: Discussion and additions to the hosta index
Hi folks,
Some of us are still under snow, but many of you are seeing hostas emerge. I hope that this will encourage discussion about all sorts of things hosta related. I also hope that some of you will post threads about single varieties including pictures and some info about the hosta. And when you do, please remember to post the name of the hosta and the link to it here so that it can be added to the Index.
Thanks,
Ann

Ed - does this exist anywhere other than in your garden?

I don't know. I got it as a few "liners" from Bentley Gardens in 2010. I don't see them selling it anymore.

Re: Discussion and additions to the hosta index
I've updated all of the new plants listed through Otter Point 15, plus I've added Half and Half and Robin Hood. If you saw any others, Ed, let me know.

Re: Discussion and additions to the hosta index
Thanks Chris - I'll clean out that list.

Re: Discussion and additions to the hosta index
Thanks folks. I was totally MIA during the winter months. Still not here full time until I get my handbell ensemble to and from provincial festival later this week. Then I start to think gardening more.
