Got home yesterday afternoon to see two hawks sharing a peaceful meal.

Nice pic! Hawks make great garden companions. For several years we've had a pair of Cooper's Hawks nesting on tall neighboring trees... they were great assistants in keeping the bunny population in check.

Our squirrel population is a bit high...bordering on out of control. We have 30 chestnut and 10 or so walnut and pecan trees...the definitely eat good here! We don't have any rabbits...we've talked about it, seems rather odd. We have a couple owls around too...maybe that's why.

We get a few here since I have bird feeders, they have nailed quite a few Mourning Doves and a few others :bawl: , I scare them away when I see them. I get Coopers, Red Tailed once in a while and a Sharp Shinned Hawk. I am not a fan.
