Some early "yellows"
A few have popped. Some have been damaged by frost and we may get hit again tonight.

Another bunch:
A small Mango Salsa on the left and two pots of Peach Salsa. I threw in a Clivia Lily. They winter in my garage and flower this time of year. I got this one last year. (Please excuse my messy garage.)

Did you overwinter the hostas in your garage, too? I left some outside, tipped the pots...I don't know if any are going to make it.

All of those hosta wintered outside. The only ones tipped over are those knocked over by the critters in my yard.
Here is another Clivia.

I have shown this seedling in another topic but got a good shot of it this morning. Right now it's getting full morning sun until the tree leaves come in.

Awesome Ed, that is like the one we have. I winter ours inside and will move them outside the 1st of May.
Our oldest if 11 years old now and I currently have 24.

Re: Some early "yellows"
I have one other with size - it is a pup off of one I bought in the mid-70ies (don't know what killed the mom). All 3 have pups now. I bought a bunch (6) of tiny variegated off ebay a bunch of years ago. I had never seen variegated ones until I was on a garden tour with the DelVal Hosta Society looking at hellebores. The guy had a couple of good sized variegated Clivia out "shading" themselves. I lost one of the six right off the bat. And another one over the years. But this winter I lost two more when my garage door popped open for an hour and froze a bunch of things. (Luckily my hosta seeds hadn't been planted yet.) So I have 2 beat-up ones left. My big Clivia were "far" away from the open door so, thankfully, they weren't damaged.

Another couple today:
Kinba - not very bright. Whiskey Sour - slow to emerge but it's showing the red tip highlights.

Ed so sorry for your loss. I would cry if I lost our large one that is why she sit by the front door all winter inside.

Your soft yellow clivia is beautiful. My friend/sister have one orange colored ... more then 70 years old... passed on from her grandmother

Re: Some early "yellows"
I went out today to get a photo of June Fever. Sitting right next to it is one of my Striptease sports so I included it also.
While racking today I came across a couple of these bright seedlings.
And some of my hardy orchids, that spent the winter in my garage, are in flower already.

A couple more "yellows". I went out between the raindrops - it has been pouring most of the day.
These are from my front flower bed where I have many that are "reblooming" types.

Ed, love the orchids. You have inspired me to get more yellows in my garden.

I thought I would throw this one in here while it is still "yellow" - it doesn't stay for long.
