Hacksaw is a small wavy-edged hosta. It is a cross of Atom Smasher with Stiletto and has relatively large flowers with purple stripes late in the season.

I was surprised to find Hacksaw had not been done as a Host of the Day. It shows up many times among the topics but never singled out. It is one of my first hosta. I have one in a trough and one in a raised bed. I went back and found I have photos dating to 2008. So this will be a long topic - I hope I'm not boring folks.
Here it is when it first came in in 2008.
