Hosta 'Dream Maker' - a streaked Blue Angel

Post by Chris_W »

This is Hosta 'Dream Maker', a streaked sport of Hosta 'Blue Angel'. This picture was taken of one we potted up and were selling last summer and we still have some left but as streaked plants they can be highly variable. In the spring these don't look like much as the variegation doesn't show that well. But by midsummer the color really stands out like this.

We should have some available in the spring if you are interested, and they are from this same batch but one year older now: http://www.perennialnursery.com/hosta-dream-maker.html

I really need to add this picture to the online catalog as it is even better than the TC picture there now.

I was sooo tempted last year to take this one home when we came up for our visit.

Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda ...

If you have any left come 2016, I might have to make the splurg.

Thanks for sharing Steve, and nice to see you are testing the waters over here. :D

Best,
Ludi

You won't know how to grow a plant successfully until you've killed it a few times.
