Fun,

Look at all that beautiful potential! Glad you have photos of your NC garden, I especially like the colors.

Here is what we started with in 1988 when we moved here, we rented from my folks until 1993.
More photos to come.

I'm looking for a picture taken in 2014 of my hosta garden. It shows camellia sasanqua draped in spanish moss, with my hosta in pots arranged all about.

I call this bed "the roundabout" because it has paths round about it leading in all directions. I plan to sink small or mini hostas in the white fountain converted to a tiered pot

This pick is from one month before I discovered hostas. The Frances William and undulatas had been given to me by a friend several years earlier. This was the western extent of my garden. It's now been expanded three times larger so I have room for you know what.

Apparently I can have the pic facing right or left but not vertically.

Edit: Picture reloaded upright :) - Chris

Well, having a small urban lot, I don't have a favorite garden, just favorite vignettes.

ZKathy & TJ,

I don't know what vignettes are, but you both have beautiful vignettes! Great colors and contrast!

ZKathy, we have to figure out how to get your photos upright. Are they in Photobucket or on your computer?

TJ, that's gorgeous. Not so small an urban lot.

TJ, Your gardens always astound me!

Cowboy, there was some Apple-Microsoft war that was being played out in photoland last year, and this photo is from that time. My EXIF viewer (and we're way above my pay grade here) says the orientation on that pic is 6. It displays in my photos on my iPad fine. The pics on this forum display sideways on my iPad . I copied it and rotated it 90 degrees. The original and the rotated copy are what I posted here. My non-Euclidean geometry is rusty, but I don't think it covers this.
Whatever.

Thanks all. I think small spaces allow one to fine tune easier (and with alacrity) because things that don't work seem to stick out more.

Our Hosta Garden last year before the hot summer hit. This last winter we moved
the two trees to the right to the front yard.
