Branching Out is an all green hosta with shiny rippled leaves. It is a new plant from Tony Avent & Plant Delights Nursery that was developed for branching scapes.

Re: Hosta of the Day #3 - Branching Out
I caught Branching Out in flower today. One thing the database doesn't mention is that the flowers are weird - they have the standard 6 petals but they have two and sometimes three pistils and more than six stamens. I noticed some different levels of anthers - it has some yingeri genes that may cause this.
The flower heads are really packed with multiple open flowers. Showing the branching Multiple pistils - bottom left flower has above the anthers and one below, the middle flower had two in the center and one "undeveloped" (and maybe 8 anthers), the one on top has three pistils in the center.
