Thanks you, guys. I guess I should say a little something 'bout how I got here. I'm crazy for daylilies and bought several million this year, or so it seems. I have a small yard, and it's very shady. When someone suggested I grow something that likes shade, well, that sure seemed sensible. So, on yet another daylily buying trip, I picked up....oh I don't know, something like 6 or 7 hostas (can't recall all of them--Kryptonite, that cute little Mouse Ears one, a gold one. Hoo boy do I sound ignorant or what!) Then I went back for more (Sagae, Lakeside something--very dark leaves. Way cool!) Then I found a hosta forum on another site. And then found another place that grows hostas (Fragrant Bouquet). Then I read very positive recommendations 'bout Hallson's. Found the forum. Lurked. Lurked some more. Et voila!
I don't have too many hostas yet. But that will change
And calliloo is a neighbor. I can assure you she has wonderful hostas. Hel-l-o-o-o-o- Alexa! It's me
If I sound a bit punch drunk, well, it's been a long week. And I have to get up early tomorrow--there's a daylily auction that needs attending!

It did cross my mind, since you are from Eastern Pa, that you might...by some chance...know Alexa! Thanks for answering my question before I even asked it! And I'd guess it won't be long before your shady yard will be filled with hostas. That's how it all started for many of us. Not complaining though!
You can say that again !!
That's how this Old Coot named John got hooked on Hostas

There may be snow in the garden, but there will always be eternal springtime in the heart of this old gardner - Saying of Old Coot
