Re: Welcome to melrose
I'm relatively new to shade garderning. Built a house on one of those empty lots 20 years ago and now my sun has turned to shade... so a couple of years ago I started replacing some of my sunny plants with hosta that a friend gave me and now I bought over 50 varieties this past year so waiting for them to mature and probably buy more... I've also gotten into the heucharas and purchased about 10 varieties to combine with the hosta... I can see how easily one can get addicted.
Over the winter, I'd like to figure out how to post photos and then I can share some of my garden.. and maybe ask for identification of some the plants my friend gave me.
I look forward to sharing with everyone~they seem so helpful
