Thanks for the welcome. I have been lurking on this forum for several years and decided to finally join in. As you can see from my user-name I have had serious problems with voles. My cat has helped reduce the population, but not nearly enough. For the last 2 years I have been pouring DeCon down those little critter holes and the damage has subsided. Knock on wood! I have chosen not to mulch the beds where the damage has been severe in order to see the holes. I should buy stock in the DeCon company! I have over 150 varieties of hostas...not many compared to many collectors, but enough to keep me satisfied...for today.
