I own an orange grove and gift fruit shipping business here in central coastal Florida, and want to improve my landscape. We live in (under) and oak hammock, and our front yard is filled with beautiful, massive Live Oaks, so FULL SHADE plants are a must. I thought Hostas would be a good choice, but it seems that they're not really suited for life in the deep south. Can anyone offer any good suggestions to my landscaping problems?
