Ernest Markham is a beautiful clematis. Wonderwoman has bought three new clematis this year. I will identify them and take pics later when they oblige :)

I can only hope the ones that the bunnies didn't eat up will be 1/2 that beautiful! :)

Phyllis, thats a beautiful EM. Clems can do with a lot less sun then given credit for. The red and green looked great against that gray siding.

Jane, even if the bunnies eat the clems to the ground, they should still send up new shoots.

Cool then! I'll be watchign for them! Should i water them? It's been threatening rain for 2 weeks, but none! A lot of my perennials are coming up nicely, but the hosta are just points (tips really) poking up but not actually growing yet.

I was wondering whether I should water the things that are starting up, like some of the clems? The soil quite dry :(

Nice picture, Phillis!! I can't wait to see the two I planted last year....Josiphine is one of them, and I forget the other one right now....
