Vine ID?

Post by patsue53 »

This vine was growing up a trellis on the back porch of a nursery I visited in MO. The leaves are heavy substance and the vine itself is quite dense. It's very pretty. I couldn't find a label on it and noone was nearby to ask.
I know my brilliant forum friends will have an answer for me! :D

I tried my gardening partners here at work but the best suggestion I got was 'kudzu'. When I googled kudzu it looks like the flowers are different, and maybe the leaf shape too.
Before criticizing someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them you will be a mile away and have their shoes!

Possibly Crimsion glory vine. Although the leaf veins don't look quite right, the leaf shape, flowers, and berries are close. It gets a bright red, fall color.

We have it growing at our local Macomb Farmers Market and it is really a cool looking vine, kinda reminds me of the Hyancynth Vine
