October Surprize

My gardens are cramped for space but that doesn't stop me from checking nurseries for EOS bargains. The only way to go is up so I can still buy Clematis. This one was labeled Clematides, which is apparently a French name for clematis? The surprize is it's blooming today. Anyone else have late blooming clems?
