Next year we will have to find something taller for her to climb up on as DH is a little concerned about the house tipping over.

How high can they climb? I have one reaching for an upstairs bedroom window but it ran out of trellis to climb. I do have an antenna tower alongside my house but it's shady there. :hmm:

Wow!! All mine are only 2-3 years old so I get excited when I see 5 or 6 buds at the same time.

This Clemmie spent it's first 5 years in a great wooded pot and we were shocked on the 5th year she broke the pot with the metal bands. When we cut the bands she was all roots and just little dirt. She has been in the ground for another 4 years in the same spot with a really heavy duty trellis and she still takes this over and so this year we tied her up to the house. One year we put a metal arch next to the other trellis and she over took that to the point she shaded all the lower front garden, plus broke that arch. I just love walking under all those blooms and am looking for something else for her to climb upwards. Another reason to go out to Deb so I can get more ideas or if someone here has an idea to share, please do. I may have to move her if DH has his way, so help!!
