This one I would recommend as it's blooms this year are huge and they last all season! Last fall I had tons of seeds from her as I allowed it to open pollinate. She has one of the Oblisks with Multi Blue on the other out front in the circle bed.

She is no more, we have had a week of 90+ degrees so I just finished cutting back all the clemmies that were fried. :(

Aww sorry to hear that :(
But on a good note it will be back next year!

So how far do you have to cut them back?

Annie, they will be back this fall! We did this last year and got to see two sets of blooms and more seedpods than we had room to grow. We cut them back to 12" above the soil. We still have Clemmies that are just now getting ready to bloom. We are in hopes to move them all out to the north side of the property when the new fence is built later in Aug.
