last years fry

Hi,
this photo is of last years spawning, they have been kept in my teahouse in an aquarium heated to 70 degrees farhenhite they hatched in June making them nearly a year old, Just look at the differing sizes one is only 1" long and the big one is 6" .

So? Does the big one just keep eating the little ones till they are all gone then you release them? Geepers! Won't he eat a little one incher?
