Blooms from outer space

The bog has come back very well this year, and we got blooms on the sarracenia 'Scarlett Belle!'

Can you imagine the first plant explorers who came across these bizarre things? The flowers are very interesting to dissect. And odd that a plant that eats bugs relies on bugs to propagate…
