Continuation of the dry stream bed project

I continued on with the dry stream bed project - now we are putting in a small bog pond ( I think that I need to dig it down a few more inches)
Tomorrow - felt padding, liner, ground cover on the edges and ROCK!!

We completed the final phase of the bog pond (took the level down to 16 inches)
While we were at it - I redid the garden to the right (Lynn came home with a bunch of new
hostas from the OHS auction on Sunday)
Also slowly redoing the bed to the left of the bog pond - now we need plants for the bog itself!
And that's it until next year when I start on the pond and the deck beside it!

Thanks - we were really hoping to get the next phase of this project (the pond) built this summer but we just flat out ran out of time! Next year!

Well .... it's now 2015 and I finally have cleaned up the mess where my pond is supposed to go ...... HOPEFULLY
this summer?
