Peeing on my bushes?

Post by DryGulch »

I have an azalea that looked really great until a couple weeks after the snow finally melted here. Beautiful color all through the winter.

Then all of a sudden, some of the leaves through the crown and following that line down to the ground turned brown on the tip edge. This was in a line through the middle of the plant, not the outer edges.

It just looks sort of strange. I can't help but think that a dog or the neighbor ain't peeing on it once the weather warmed up and they were outside more and the bush was more accessible. The rest of the plant looks great and I did not have any bud drop.

Do I just have a suspicious mind?

It grows in the shade of cedars and pine, gets fed a liquid miracid solution in the correct proportions and has been watered when dry. It is backed by a fence on the south and is protected from the wind.
