Hybridizer or Plant Breeder??

I have been emailing a local gardener whom writes for the local paper on gardening. This is for those
of you that dabble in creating new plants. Which term do you use?

I think hybridizer is better. That doesn't capture the folks who mostly create new plants by searching for sports, though.
