cost of seeds
I finally got around to planting some hyacinth bean seeds---dated 2011. the cost on the package was $1.79 and it contained 7 seeds. that's outrageous. I expected more than 7 in a package. sure hope they germinate. I prefer saving my own seeds but we moved and I didn't have any on hand.

Wow! That price does seem steep for such a few amount of seeds! I hope they grow well for you!

and you just reminded me that I meant to plant more! the seedlings I planted out didn't do well in the constant rain and cold we've had for the last 4 weeks. :p

so far I have "1" seedling. bah humbug! hopefully it blooms and sets seeds or next year i'm going to be looking early in the season for seeds from a different manufacturer.
