Merry Christmas

Post by thy »

... to all of you.

Hope you will enjoy the days surrounded by peace and happiness:-)
... then you may add good food and maybe a present or more.

May you all stay safe and warm...
Weird warm weather here 20C in daytime and 8 C in the evening

PS I got a new keybord for my PC... with a new unused space button, so I am going to do a lot of misspellings in the next week but will not have to separate every word :-) ... or forget to separate them ;-)

The Idiots wish a very Merry Christmas to all our Hallson friends!

It's been SO cold here... like in the minus single and double digits with wind chills way below that... I'm not sure how low we got, but the other morning when I got up I heard a little town in MN reporting -30 F which I think is - 35 C... brutal... then yesterday it warmed up enough to snow on and off enough to make the walks and driveway a mess...

we're avoiding going out too much cause we don't want to be sick when we leave for Africa on Sunday... it's taken two weeks to clear up some respiratory crud and I don't want a relapse!

It's that time of year... time to share my favorite (demented) Christmas song...

And Pia... not sure how our German-Polish heritage family ended up with a Christmas morning tradition of warm Kringle... but this is our version!

Ohhi t looks delicious, just like homemade kringle :-)

Have no idea except some where in the dark some have been in Denmark.
Weird it is not a normal -X-mas tradition here,,, so you have your own.
Here Rice al a mande is the tradition in our house, but not in Denmark, for Christmas morning...
In fact it is the dessert from our night before dinner, but at that time you are full, so next morning is the best time to eat it.... sort of leche con arros, no salt or sugar, just plain ... add a lot of ruff cut almonds, a bit of Amaretto and then a lot of whipped cream... add cherry souse on the top and you have an other un healthy breakfast... then what ... it is Christmas.

So where are you going,... for how long and where are you going for how long second time... just have to have all details you know

Hi all! Are you all Christmas-ed out? Mine was quiet which was okay, but today due to a family funeral I have a daughter, a son-in-law, a grandaughter, and a great grandaughter for a few days. so I am getting lessons on my computer, my new camera and getting a bunch of 'Honey-dews taken care of. I miss every one on Hallsons, so I will be glad to see the After Christmas posts. Soon to be 2014 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
