Just seeing this. I am in shock, I just knew she would kick it again. May she rest in peace, such a wonderful lady. I remember her pictures of the new house they built and how happy she was. So darn sad.

Oh... I'd forgotten that picture - thanks so much for posting! Now I'll have to take a break before going on... got something in my eye...

--------------------------

We're on the road, so I didn't have the opportunity to upload until now...

Wanted you to know we did get to attend Phyllis' memorial service. It was a great send off. There was no "service" - just a lot of time for family and friends to share stories, along with music written by a family friend and played by her son and friends and relatives.

The flowers from her "Seedy Friends" were lovely - and right up front and center. I did share with Doug and the family that Phyllis' Hallsons' family was there with them. (Sorry - didn't have a camera or phone with us to take pictures of the flowers...)

I have made pics of the memorial handout...

This is so very late, but I am so sad to read of Phyllis' passing. She was such a gentle peaceful soul and had such joy. It is nice that her crossing was peaceful. She deserved that after the courageous battle she fought for so many years. Over the years I would pop in just to check and see if she was still here. But things got very busy this past year and I lapsed and missed it until now. I often remember us sending her scarves for her to wear. That seems like a lifetime ago. I know she is missed by her "Seedy Friends" here. But I bet bet she is still around!

Here's to you GrannyNanny!

Thanks for posting, Claudia. :) Yes, it seems like a long time ago when this forum was really busy and there was such a great group here, with granny nanny a big part of it.
