I sure am glad you posted those. They're nice. Now the question is, "Do you have any that glow in the dark?" If the answer is, "No," then you haven't finished bringing them home!

Love the gazing balls!

I just had to share my Jester. He was purchased by my dad 25 years ago and I just think he's great. Every time I see him I smile and think of my dad.

Lisa...I love that purple one! And you do need some of those glow in the dark ones. I haven't found just the right one yet, but I'm going to get one!
Alexa, I love your Jester. He's really great, and nice to have something of your dad in your garden.

Honestly, I don't think my new greenhouse counts as garden art but I'm sure having fun propogating plants. The praying mantis is in the garden holding a pot up in a tree. Andy's sister who lives in Florida recently gave him this bell. I don't think we'll be making it ring cuz its so loud our neighbors won't appreciate it. Later, Love, Lisa

Hi, I'm new here.

I have really enjoyed reading and looking at your post. I thought I'd show a couple of my garden junk now that I've learned (Ihope)how to post thumbprints!
This is an old cast iron soap kettle that belonged to my DH grandmothers. I have 2 of them. I'll be using them as planters.

This is an arbor DH built out of discarded store display racks.

I got tired of wind blowing my gazing balls off the stand and them breaking or the odd hale storm doing them in so I made this one.

Fish is little. He was made by my hosta partner in crime, Kim. Angel is in my garden and birdhouse is in the garden of Irwin and Joanne Johnson this summer at Regionals. Later, Love, Lisa

Pond is mine and so is the knocker. Snow man is from my hometown. Kristy Yaumaguchi sp? married a hockey player who's from my hometown. On the day of my mom's funeral, No.St. Paul had a parade for the hockey jock. My dad was a plaster and stucco contractor and did the snowman. Later, Love, Lisa

I thought that PVC birdhouse looked EZ to make so I shot a picture of it. Do you realize that NO ONE has made a post under the "Gallery" heading since late Oct 06? If we don't post here...the heading might be removed. It happened when we had a "gathering" heading....Posting meet us in Schaumberg, Ohio or other meeting spots but because it was NOT popular....it disappeared. I love to post photo's so it will be sad if the gallery goes away. Later, Love, Lisa

Have to tell you I just found this thread and lost track of time looking at all the pictures. What a treasure chest of cool stuff! Now I can't wait to clean the shed and get my garden art out of storage and ready for spring. :D

Can we continue adding to this thread or is it getting too long?

Is there such a thing as a thread too long? Maybe NOT. Later, Love, Lisa

My new junk...and what a deal!

I have been looking for flamingoes for a couple years then I saw these! Whoa...look at that price tag! Definitely will pass! Then I noticed....my sister works for a subsidiary of the company that makes them....hmmmm. Called sis, she can't do anything. Too bad, not paying thaaaat!

Sis calls next week...went to get nails done...store next to salon is an outlet for this company she works for...flamingoes there for 50% off. She gets another 20% off...sooo the flamingoes live at my house now.... :D :D :D

Their permanent home will be my annual flower garden, but it isn't ready yet. Hard to tell from the pic but they are aluminum cast and the tallest one is a little over 3 feet. Thanks for lookin' :D

Those flamingoes are cool. I have a flamingo wind chime, but the chenille plant is blocking the view. I like pink!

We are big flamingo fans and read that they stopped making them the first of the year so we were afraid to put our out this year for fear they will fly off. Last night's newspaper had an article that someone bought the rights to make them so we are in hopes we can get more!! Flock of six isn't enough in my book. We also have the windchime and a few other pink flamingo items. Our yard bling was removed due to a neighbor having several items stolen out of her year.

She is beautiful, Dirtpig! How tall is she!

Karma, I understand how you would be protective of your flamingoes and other art. People are so ruthless! And it usually isn't because they want the stuff, they just like causing someone else misery!

We live in the country, and the house is in the middle of the 44 acres, so, thank God, I don't have to worry about someone stealing mine. If anyone managed to get to the house, the Rottweilers would take care of those flamingo stealing varmints!!!! I hear they taste like chicken!

BTW, Karma, I forgot to ask if you have pics of your flamingoes?
