Morning Stroll on front walk part1

Post by Pandora »

I was taking a stroll the other day and decided to get the camera and take what I was seeing.

This is from the driveway walking toward the front door.

Natalie,
Thank you. We had some 3 shrubs die 3 years ago and just replaced them last year and I did some thinning this year. It is a process, isn't it?

Thanks for the comments on the walkway, we have been really pleased with it.

The walkway is concrete. We selected the pattern and colors. We did not want the color to exactly match the brick so they put some red in the mix and we didn't want it an even solid color so they suggested putting some lamp black in it and just mix it around a bit. ((Those of you near Akron know that lamp black is what they put in tires to make them black. That is one messy job.))

Well, Midnight, as I was taking the pictures I was wondering who I could give this to. Now I can write your name down as the primary candidate.

Wow, concrete!!! Do they just lay the form on the wet concrete and then stain? Your gardens are really beautiful. Thanks for the relaxing stroll.
