New vegetable garden

Post by whis4ey »

This will be the new vegetable garden this year
Raised beds because of the higher rainfall we have been having, and to help with drainage
Raised beds because they won't be walked on and so will not compact the soil so badly
Raised beds because they should be easier to weed
Raised beds because the paths will not need weeding at all, and if anything grows through the deeply mulched wood chip paths they can be sprayed without affecting the vegetables
Raised beds because Wonderwoman has been going on about it for so long that I have finally had to concede :)

Good Job!! I agree on raised beds and wish ours were smaller but again straw makes a good path in them!
