It was around 8pm when I noticed that this rhodo was pretty well fully out. It was starting to go dark, but I tried a picture anyway. The flash went off & I was quite surprised when I saw it had come out like this.

Camera - Canon A300 (a fairly simple camera (for these days) with a lens of only one focal length - i.e. no zoom). I bought it because it has a wider angle of view than is standard and because I think that non-zoom lenses usually have better resolution than ones that zoom. This one certainly seems to have very good resolution. This picture has been cropped and the file of it has been considerably compressed. The original is better quality than this one which is just below the 100 kb max.
