I really need some help here I have a couple plants I need to identify.. the first is a bush of some type... at least I think it is... there is a large stump this is growing from..
the other I found growing near the big oak we trimmed.. it had been a flower bed once, I am sure many years ago, as there was an old white metal fence twisted and rusted we dug out of the ground..

2nd one is a primrose (primula) - late spring/early summer bloomer.

I'll agree with Paul that #2 looks like a primrose. #1 is a mystery. Can you post a bigger picture?

The first one looks like Japanese Knotweed (larger photo required to confirm); if it is, get out the RoundUp!

I was thinking the same things. #1 looks like Knotweed and #2 looks like some kind of Primrose. Also agree you don't want the Knotweed if that's what you have - a larger picture including the stems would help to confirm.

Yup! Japanese Knotweed. Get rid of it before it gets rid of you!

Yep
I agree
It is an extremly invasive ( but very beautiful ) plant.. get rid of it or it will take over your garden
Showel prune and then after a few days, it is time for Round Up... Use a earpin or brush and paint it with pure Round Up---
No you are not dreaming.. it is me recomending R.up
