Absolutely beautiful.....my Mother used to tell us that if we painted a picture showing the natural colors in nature, nobody would believe it!

Do you grow your dahlias from seed or plant tubers. I grow from seed every year and leave them in the ground, some live and some die. I'm too lazy to dig them up, when I tried it once i only had two left by spring.

He had a lot this time last year, b t the weathers this summer was so hot and dry, they just dried up !!!

BEAUTIFUL Dahlia !! I had some a few years back and then, for some unknown reason, didn't put any in my gardens again until this past summer. Loyal plants they are as they refuse to submit to cold fall weather but just keep blooming their little hearts out. Definately need to create a major dahlia garden next spring.

I snapped this photo of one of my dahlia blooms that I'd float in my small reflecting pool... made me thing of a "Monet" kinda painting.. :D
