What temperature do you keep them at to get flowers at this time of year?
Zone: This is England we don't do zones. Pick any number between 2 and 11

I have been playing with the light and temps this winter due to the electrical rates and I think I have found the best way to winter them! Temps are right now at 50 degrees F at night to 60 degree F during the day. I have this B. GA Peach and B. Kyle's Pink in bloom as I'm keeping the rest without buds and leaves at this time of year. These two I have also crossed so we will see if we get a couple more seedpods. I'm interested in the timing and how they develop during the winter months.

Due to the misnamed seeds last year I am a year behind with my brugmansia plans. I have 3 brugs I grew from seed though and they are doing very well in the conservatory which I keep at a constant 63f.

I keep the greenhouse cooler at about 50, but have installed lights and electric propagators so I can start this year's various seeds early.

I currently have all kinds of stuff growing including 5 varieties of dats at the seedling stage, make that four, the double purples have not made an appearence yet, but they I have found in the past that they can take 5 days or 5 weeks to germinate, very strange.

Our outside temps are low 40's at the moment.

Well I watered last Sat and must of bumped the pod as I found this beauty on the soil today. I brought her in and cracked her open to find the biggest Brugmansia seed I have ever seen. Not many but huge! They will dry a few days before I send them. :D

Bonnie these are the biggest seeds I have ever seen in my 10 years of growing. Just think of the size they could of become if the pod wouldn't of been knocked off. I think it could of lasted another month.

Here are the seeds after being soaked and pealed, that is a straw from a coffee drink for size.
