Hey, Mike, are you out there? The poppy seed you sent me a couple of years ago has continued to bless my life. Today the first of them opened. I'm always anxious to see what new surprises there will be! Here are the first 3 to open.

I dearly love poppies but like a lot of my favorite plants, it's too hot for them to survive here more than maybe 2-3 weeks in early Spring. I plant Iceland poppies called Champagne Bubbles (as small bedding plants) in November and they usually bloom in January.
I didn't get any plants in last winter and I really did miss them this Spring.
