Alocasia odora

Post by streaker71 »

Was just wondering if this plant could be brought in before cold weather hits and be grown indoors? We have a very bright upstairs room that has been rescently redone with new hardwood floors and we would like to make it into a plant room for the winter. The room has a southern exposure and will have a humidifier running 24/7. Ive read odora isnt that hard to keep going through the winter. So I am hoping!

We have several Alocasia and we toss them in the corner of the greenhouse or bring them inside during the winter months. I would give it a try as it sounds like you have a condition worth trying it in.
