A couple of the Brugs

Post by tsneal »

I just couldn't get a good picture. I've really enjoyed these. Looking forward to next year already. These were first year plants so next year should be better!

I have a peach variety but the shots didn't turn out...I'm blaming the baby on my hip. I'll have to try again.

My Dad (the non-gardener) really enjoys Brugs. I got him 4 different pinks for Father's Day. Maybe next year we can get some cuttings from them. I was hoping this fall BUT...I should have been fertilizing and watering them everytime I was over there - they didn't seem to grow as quickly as I liked. :P

Oh Kathleen, my folks place in on the CP garden walk next year. I think it is the weekend after July 4th. Hope to see ya there!

I'm getting the second round of blooms out of my Brugs. They usually only bloom in early July and that's it. I think it was the fertilizing that did it. Lots and lots of fertilizer.

These flowers have the most intoxicating smell!!!!
