Brugmansia Watch

For several weeks we have been on 'Brug Watch' like waiting for them to bloom!!

Those of you that grow these know what we mean.

And so it begins...

My Brugmansia 'Raffaella', a giant tree, has some large buds almost ready to bloom. I took two cuttings from it this winter, rooted them; they are also forming buds. The color is identical to the daylily 'Dublin Elaine'!

I am eagerly awaiting flowers on my other Brug, a seedling which has yet to 'Y' and form its first flowers, but this should be the year...

Congrats to you John, I just hope your world is full of bloomers!

What ya think about this one?? I need to let the nursery know how she is doing, I enjoy her alot.

. I'll have to do some research. Do you grow all yours from seed, Karma? How long do they take to bloom from seed?

This is our hybrid B. Jutner Peachy Cream and again we are seeing a huge difference in her now that she is back in the pot. Pot growing verses Ground growing is a world apart!!
