Plumeria branches.

Use this area to talk about tender plants such as annuals, tropicals, and houseplants.

Plumeria branches.

Post by Gruntfuttock »

This 2 year old 5' plumeria produced this strange knob in the middle of the stem which I thought may be an inflo, but it did nothing more, then it produced 6 new branches, as seen here.

I find this rather exciting, but will it produce flowers from this knob?

Looks like it is in a greenhouse? Am I right? Zones (or no zones) notwithstanding, if you tell me you can grow Plumeria out of doors, I shall be sick. With envy.

It's in the conservatory. I had to put the others outside as the red spider mites were killing them. When the leaves fall off I'll bring them indoors.

If you look at my last post in "I've got a huge pink one" thread you can see one of the seedlings behind the brug.
