With the sun shining the temperature in the conservatory got up to 43C (110F).
This Begonia Lucerne was getting a bit leggy so I gave it a trim. The new buds are swelling nicely.

I don't know what this is called but it grows all round the Mediterranean.

I don't know what sort of cactus this is either, but it's always nice to see it in bloom.

The second one is a purple heart wandering Jew. It's very pretty. That blossom is a dead giveaway for the spiderwort family.

yep, I have the "purple heart" too. I used to have some cactus; my "Golden Star Cactus" looked very much like yours -- mine did look more 'golden', but the difference could be from many factors.
