Abbotsbury sub-tropical gardens.

Use this area to talk about tender plants such as annuals, tropicals, and houseplants.

Abbotsbury sub-tropical gardens.

Post by Gruntfuttock »

Had a day out at Abbotsbury sub-tropical gardens in Dorset on the South coast of England today and met some cyber friends there.

Views of the gardens.

It's hard to believe these tree ferns are so advanced this early in May. There are no greenhouses, all these pictures are outdoors.

Golden pheasants roamed wild.

Chesil Beach from the top of the hill above the gardens. This shingle storm beach is unique in Britain..
