I brought an Elephant Ear in for the winter and it drip a liquid what is that?

Mine do the same after I first bring them into the house (potted). They are just transpiring -- getting rid of excess water.

Ours do the same thing, it's fun to watch the little balls of water form up on some of the leaves on a few varieties.

My hostas will do that too. Niagra Falls had a drop on every ripple one day.
