Codiaeum (croton) - anyone with experience?

Codiaeum Variegatum
Codiaeum is a tropical plant, very common in the Philippines where we don't have snow.
I saw these two in Wal-mart and they are labeled as houseplant. Does anyone have success growing them indoors? Any tips?
These plants needs lots of sun and I don't know if indoor houselight and occasional morning sun is enough. I am planning to collect few varieties for nice colors, and cheap too at Walmart.
I have the Sunny Star & Song of India.
