Mystery Plant -- mystery partially solved (pic)

Post by GrannyNanny »

Here's the latest pic of the Mystery Plant, as of today, May 5th. It is 16 1/2 inches tall, and almost certainly is some sort of a tree or maybe a shrub, but WHAT is still a mystery. Have another look at the pic, and then tell me if you have any ideas. I think I may take it over to the U. of MN hort department, and see if someone over there can ID it. Phyllis

Hi Phyllis, do you have any cottonwood trees around you?
Just wondering...

Send me a larger pic directly, Phyllis. I just cannot see from one the size of the one here.
Many a great tune has been played on an older fiddle.
