Astrantia for Mike

Post by doublemom2 »

Hey Mike... remember the Astrantia you sent home with me for babysitting? Well.... it's sure a knockout! Just thought you'd like to see a picture of your baby :)

Aw, its so pretty. I am sure it is happy at your place and will put on a nice show for you all summer. I saw one at a friends yesterday that was deep dark red - so cool. Gotta get one of those too. I just love this plant! :)

Mike - I have one or two of the dark dark red ones. If I can bribe you to come to the trade at my place on June 5, you can choose and I'll give you a piece when you're settled at your new place. There is a big article on Astrantias in the latest edition of Horticulture Mag, you can peek at that when you're at my place also (see, I'm already assuming you'll be here LOL!)

I can't make it that weekend Andi - I have to dig irises and get a start on re-moving my hardscape from Jim's house (he passed away). A swap sounds like laot more fun believe me, but this stuff has got to get done first.
