Very nice! THanks for the tour. The wind is howling outside and it is COLD! Summer is already beginning to seem like a distant memory.....

Ed, does your gas plant do well for you? I saw those on a gardening show years ago and have wanted one or two ever since, but I have never found them locally. If I remember correctly, the show said gas plant can kind of fill in that late spring gap for a couple weeks where not much is blooming. When does it bloom for you? Thanks! And great pics...looking forward to seeing more. :)

Yes the gas plant is a late spring bloomer, I have had mine for several years now. It has slowly formed a clump. It has a nice vivid color, and last for a couple of weeks.
It sets seed easily. They said to plant it where it will stay as it resents being moved, and I have stuck by that.
I recommend a grouping of about 3 for a nicer effect.
You will not be sorry if you buy it, plus it is long lived.
