Not bad for January 6th?

Post by Herb »

In 1994 I bought a few very small pots marked 'Pink Kaffir Lily' and put them all in a much bigger container. I like Kaffir Lilies because they bloom late in the year and go on flowering for a long time. Pink ones seem to be much less common than the usual fiery orang/red ones.

I stood the container in full sun & kept it well watered & they grew a bit last year, but there was no sign of flowers.

Now, at last (January 6th yet) we are delighted to see this -

Thanks for sharing with us... I need to get out and take photos of some of the things blooming right now too
