Need help with I.D. of bulbs

Post by Gardentoad »

I have a bag of mixed bulbs to I.D. I was at the Flower and Patio show on the last day and the guy sold me the Liatris I wanted and for a bonus threw in a couple handfulls of Anemone de Caen and Trigidia. He gave me a couple slips of paper with the names on them, but I don't know which bulbs are what.

One is regular onion skinned, somewhat teardrop shaped yellowish bulbs.
The other is dark brown pieces of odd shaped chunks.

I know what the liatris is. They are round brown bulbs.

Can anyone tell me what the other 2 types look like?
Never before have so few with so much promised to take away so much from so many and then laugh their asses off as the so many with so little vote for the so few with so much.

Odd shaped chunks are the anemone. If you can't figure out which end is up when planting, place them on the side. Also, soak the anemone in water overnight before planting to rehydrate the tubers. It helps.
