Clara Curtis Mum

Post by LucyGoose »

Hello!!

I just came inside to ask a question after the fact.....I don't know why I do that but I guess I just need to know if I messed up...

My Clara Curtis Mum that Dori sent me years ago has now for about 2 years, maybe more, fell over like when it blooms.....When I had first got it, for the first couple years it would look beautiful when it blooms, now they seem to be too heavy......Do you people who have it trim it like you do the other kind of mums? Well, I hope so, cause I just did.....I have a really thick patch of it and I just took my trusty sizzers and trimmed them.....Now I hope this year they bloom standing tall like they used to.

Thanks for listening and any 2 cents you add! :D

Yes, I think that CC benefits from shearing. All of the older mums do, if they're not the rounded clumps that have been developed more recently. Phyllis
